mongoose gridfs on top of new gridfs api

Note!: Only compatible with Mongoose >= 6.0.7+

Note!: Ensure mongoose connection before use

Requirements

Installation

  1. $ npm install --save mongoose mongoose-gridfs

Usage

  1. import { createReadStream } from 'fs';
  2. import { createModel } from 'mongoose-gridfs';
  3. // use default bucket
  4. const Attachment = createModel();
  5. // or create custom bucket with custom options
  6. const Attachment = createModel({
  7. modelName: 'Attachment',
  8. connection: connection
  9. });
  10. // write file to gridfs
  11. const readStream = createReadStream('sample.txt');
  12. const options = ({ filename: 'sample.txt', contentType: 'text/plain' });
  13. Attachment.write(options, readStream, (error, file) => {
