OSX-ISO

Create a bootable ISO of OS X / macOS, from the installation app file.

Prerequisites

The appropriate installation app file(s) must be located in /Applications i.e.

  1. /Applications/Install macOS Monterey.app
  2. /Applications/Install macOS Big Sur.app
  3. /Applications/Install macOS Catalina.app
  4. /Applications/Install macOS Mojave.app
  5. /Applications/Install macOS High Sierra.app
  6. /Applications/Install macOS Sierra.app
  7. /Applications/Install OS X El Capitan.app
  8. /Applications/Install OS X Yosemite.app
  9. /Applications/Install OS X Mavericks.app

Mac users can download theses files from the App Store.

Install with Homebrew

  1. $ brew tap busterc/tap
  2. $ brew install osx-iso

Usage

  1. $ osxiso
  3. 1) macOS Monterey  4) macOS Mojave       7) OS X El Capitan  10) Quit
  4. 2) macOS Big Sur   5) macOS High Sierra  8) OS X Yosemite
  5. 3) macOS Catalina  6) macOS Sierra       9) OS X Mavericks
  7. Select OS or Quit:
