The COVID-19 epidemic dataset intends to provide global multi-scale novel coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic data from December 31, 2019 to the end of the epidemic, which aims to provide authoritative, open and multi-scale COVID-19 epidemic information which will help serve scientists worldwide to provide suggestions for the epidemic. The COVID-19 epidemic dataset includes statistical data at three scales, global scale, the national (provincial) scale and the national (prefecture-level) scale. The statistical data at each scale contains six text files, new confirmed cases, new cured cases, new deaths, total confirmed cases, total cured cases, and total death cases.COVID-19疫情数据集拟提供从2019年12月31日至疫情结束期间的全球多尺度新型冠状病毒（COVID-19）疫情数据，旨在为广大科研工作者提供权威的、开放的和多尺度的COVID-19疫情信息，有助于服务全球科学家为本次疫情建言献策。 COVID-19疫情数据集包括三个尺度，即全球尺度、全国（省级）尺度和全国（地级市）尺度的统计数据。每个尺度下的统计数据包含六个文本文件，即新增确诊病例、新增治愈病例、新增死亡病例、总确诊病例、总治愈病例和总死亡病例。
