The Variants project provides an import package and sample data to demonstrate an implementation of Variant Configuration. See the Variants Package powerpoint for more information about the sample data and data model.
Note: Variants are targeted to be addressed in a future release of Aras Innovator. Please see the Aras Public Roadmap for more information.

Though built and tested using Aras 11.0 SP7, this project should function in older releases of Aras 11.0 and Aras 10.0.
Always back up your code tree and database before applying an import package or code tree patch!
..\Variants\Import\imports.mf
file in the Manifest File field...\Data\VariantsSampleData.xml
and paste into AML Studio/Nash.You are now ready to login to Aras and try out Variants.
Note: The project also adds “Option Codes” and “Option Constraints” under the Portfolio category in the TOC. These are used to define and configure variants.
