This Userscript stops YouTube From Auto-Playing Videos

What the script does

By default, YouTube keeps playing the next video in the suggestions. Most of the time, those suggestions aren’t very good.

This script simply toggles the ‘Auto-Play’ button to ‘OFF’ automatically.

Playlists will still Auto-Play when using this script.

Playlists are obviously content where Auto-Play makes total sense: The script will not stop Auto-Play when you’re watching videos from a playlist.

How to run the script

There are several possibilities to run it:

• The easiest way is to use TamperMonkey which is available for Firefox and Chrome , even for Opera
